RULES FOR VISITORS

As on all other circuits, there are certain rules to follow on the Sachsenring. If you break them, you risk not being allowed on the circuit or being banned, even if you have a valid ticket. What is allowed and what is forbidden on the Sachsenring? 

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND BEHAVIOUR

  • Any form of commercial, political or religious advertising is forbidden; banners, signs, symbols or brochures may not be used.
  • It is forbidden to proclaim or spread racist, xenophobic or right-wing extremist slogans and to wear related clothing.
  • Everyone is obliged to behave so that no one else is harmed, threatened, restricted, or harassed.
  • Shouting or gestures that could affect the competitors should be avoided.
  • It is forbidden to climb over barriers or fences and enter the track.
  • Children must be adequately supervised by an adult.
  • Dogs and other animals are not allowed on the Sachsenring.
  • Motor vehicles must only be parked in designated spaces.
  • In the interest of safety and the smooth running of the event, spectatorsareobliged to follow the instructions of the organiser, security personnel or the police.
  • It is not permittedto make audio or video recordings of the event and publish them on the internet and social media without the prior written consent of the organiser.
  • No beverages, food, souvenirs, clothing, promotional items, fan merchandise or other commercial items may be sold without written permission from the organiser.

PERMITTED ITEMS ON SACHSENRING

  • Mobile phones are allowed.
  • Cameras and camcorders can be used for private use. However, for example, large film cameras cannot be used. 
  • It is possible to use canes for the blind and aids for walking.
  • Key chains and purse chains are also allowed.
  • Medicines for personal use.
  • Flag carriers up to 1.6 m or 2 cm in diameter, provided they do not obstruct the view. In general, security can deny you access to the stands if they decide the flag does not meet the conditions. 
  • Common pocket lighters.
  • Binoculars.
  • Standard sized umbrellas or hand umbrellas.

PROHIBITED ITEMS ON SACHSENRING

  • Pyrotechnics, like fireworks or smoke candles.
  • Weapons of all kinds and similarly dangerous objects.
  • Glass containers, cans, spirits, alcoholic beverages, drugs.
  • The organiser reserves the right to scan clothing, check bags and use a metal detector to check for prohibited items.
